VIRUS, you may have encontered this word many time , but do you really know its meaning ??
A virus is any kind of malicious program or an executable file that force your machine to work inappropriately.

It is a folder bomb batch file , it is not actually a virus but can make you understand what virus can acually do.
It will make 'n' number of blank folders on your C: drive and will junk your C: drive which will subsequently make your machine work slow.
To execute this all you have to do is
1. Copy the code in notepad
2. Save the file with extension .bat
3. Run the program
TYPES OF VIRUSES :
1. I LOVE YOU
It was the most dangerous and destructive worm virus ever made. It not affects your computer but also affects your contacts in your e-mail. It started to spread through emails. The email used to be such like "LOVE LETTER FROM YOUR ADMIRER" and as soon as you open the attachment the virus used to executed and it automatically replicate itself and was sent to 50 more contacts in your contacts. It was created using VB and hence the file extension used to be .vbs , So if you get any such mail think twice before opening it.
2. SASSER
The virus, once active, modified operating systems in ways that shutting off the power completely was the only way to turn off an affected machine. This virus affected Windows OS primarily.The virus affected hospitals, public transportation, airlines, news agencies and much more. After one million infections, there was an estimated 18 billion dollars in damage recorded. It was started to spread through emails.
YANKEE DOODLE
A bulgarian Hacker in 1989 made this virus, if this virus is executed in your system it infects all the .com and .exe files. If your machine is switched on at around 4 PM it will play a song automatically play a song yankee doodle
NIMDA
Nimda was first found on September 18, 2001. The name of the virus is derived from the word “Admin” if spelled backward. Nimda used Emails, server vulnerabilities, shared folders and file transfer to spread itself. It became the internet’s most widespread virus within 22 minutes. The primary purpose of the virus was to slow down the internet traffic considerable causing a DoS attack.
